UMW Pre-Medical/Dental/Physician Assistant Society
As a valued member of the University of Mary Washington community, we invite you to learn more about our university’s Pre-Medical/Dental/Physician Assistant Society. We are a student-run, pre-professional club that aims to prepare our members for careers in medicine and dentistry through enriching extracurricular activities and to foster a close community o future healers.
In the past, we have held practice suture clinics and a cadaver lab to equip our club members with medical skills that go beyond the classroom. We also hold group study sessions, visit medical and dental schools in the area, and encourage our members to be active in the local community through clinical work and non-clinical volunteer service. Although we have exciting plans for activities such as CPR training, additional practice suture clinics, and purchasing a set of MCAT/DAT/GRE preparation books, our club faces limited financial resources.
