This March 25-26, 2026, the Mary Washington community comes together for 24 hours of impact. Starting at noon on March 25 and running through noon on March 26, alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, and students will unite for our 9th annual #MaryWashDay. 

Your participation—whether through a gift, sharing our message, or celebrating your Eagle pride—helps us reach ambitious goals: 2,500 gifts, 400 first-time donors, and 1,200 alumni donors, all within a single day.

When the Mary Wash Day video is shared from the main UMW Facebook page 100 times by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, March 25, we'll unlock a $10,000 gift for the Fund for Mary Washington. Board of Visitors member and former Honor Council President John Anstey ’93 and Kara Matala ’94 are challenging all Mary Wash Day groups to showcase their #TogetherUMW spirit on Instagram.
