Strassheim 3,000 Gift Challenge
Robert J. '96 and Sarah Gildersleeve Strassheim '01 have been Mary Wash Giving Day supporters since the very beginning! This year, they’re challenging everyone who loves Mary Washington to join them in giving back. If we reach our goal of 3,000 gifts on Giving Day, Rob and Sarah will give $9,000 to support the Fund for Mary Washington and student scholarships – AND they will pledge an additional $36,000 in the coming years. Abas ’85 and Eileen Brown Adenan ’88 are taking their Devil-Goat rivalry to a new level. Great Lives Challenge
Russell and Barbara Stone Mait ’79 and Heather Gebbia Knapp ’93 have come together to issue this challenge to Great Lives supporters. In honor of Dr. Crawley's 51 years of service to Mary Washington and tireless dedication to the Great Lives Lecture Series: if 51 gifts are made to the Great Lives Lecture Series, it will unlock Russell and Barbara’s gift of $2,500 to the Great Lives Lecture Series. If 75 gifts are made to Great Lives by midnight tonight, it will unlock Heather’s gift of $2,500 to the Great Lives Lecture Series for a total of $5,000 total in support for the program.
