Fund for Mary Washington
Support the Fund for Mary Washington on #MaryWashDay!

The Fund for Mary Washington is UMW’s unrestricted annual fund. Gifts to the Fund for Mary Washington go to work immediately to support critical needs across the University, touching each student's experience.

As a state-assisted University, Mary Washington receives less than 25% of its operating budget from the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Fund for Mary Washington bridges the gap between state and tuition dollars and the actual cost of providing an outstanding liberal arts education to our 4,000+ students.

Your gift to the Fund for Mary Washington is an investment in the future of UMW’s bright, engaged students. It is a vote of confidence in the importance of UMW's mission in today's world. It is the most important way you can offer your support of the University's most pressing needs.

“Mary Washington thrives when it understands that its very existence is an investment in hope—a hope in the students we educate and a hope in our Republic’s future.”

-President Troy D. Paino
