When you support the College of Business you are ensuring our students have unique opportunities such as: undergraduate and graduate student research collaborations, travel opportunities to present research papers at conferences, stipends for unpaid internships, software licenses for cutting edge educational learning, and professional development programs.
This year we have a unique opportunity to ensure our students have the necessary support to succeed and also honor a beloved faculty member. Leigh Frackelton is preparing to retire from Mary Washington after teaching more than 35 years of tax and business law.
One of Leigh's former students, Rob Strassheim '96, is leading a campaign to secure $100,000 in gifts and pledges for the College of Business Endowment. Once the goal has been reached, a classroom inside Woodard Hall will be named in honor of Leigh Frackelton.
Your gift to the College of Business Endowment can be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Honeywell Charitable Fund of the Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region. All gifts made to the College of Business Endowment on April 5 will be in honor of Leigh Frackelton and eligible for the dollar-for-dollar match.
To qualify for this match, choose "College of Business" as your Area of Support and "College of Business Endowment" as your Fund Designation.
