#GivingTuesday has ended, but you can still support our Eagles!
CAS - Beyond the Classroom Endowment

Experiential learning is at the core of the Mary Washington experience, and student research is just one area that receives support from the newly established Beyond the Classroom Endowment. From participating in groundbreaking research at the University of Geneva to conducting field and laboratory work at an excavation in Romania, these experiences provide students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in research projects often left to graduate-level students at other institutions.

And yet, many research opportunities cannot be realized without funding.

Your support of student learning opportunities has been critical to the College of Arts and Sciences as we work towards our long-term goal: growing the Beyond the Classroom Endowment to $1 million. Reaching this goal will enable us to provide approximately $40,000 every year to support high-impact student learning experiences that take our students beyond the classroom.

Please consider a gift toward this initiative for Giving Tuesday.

Beyond the Classroom Endowment 200 Gift November Challenge: Beth Craig ’77 and Phyllis Quinn ’77 are challenging the Mary Washington community. If 200 gifts are made to the Beyond the Classroom Endowment in the month of November they will make a gift of $10,000 to BTC! So far we have received 95 gifts. Will you help us reach the remaining gifts?
